General terms and conditions for concluding a contract with WOX

2. Conclusion of contract
A contract with us is concluded through an offer and its acceptance. Our internet offer is not an offer in the legal sense, but an invitation or services.
You can make an offer to conclude a contract for an event or goods (hereinafter for events and goods: "item") by placing the item in the virtual shopping cart and clicking the "Order with payment" button at the end of your order process.
Immediately afterwards you will receive an email about the receipt of your offer. Acceptance of your offer and thus the conclusion of the contract takes place through the delivery of the goods and the sending of a corresponding email (shipping confirmation) or, in the case of events, only through the sending of the email. ​

Regulations for leisure events​

1. Scope of services
The scope of services of the leisure events (e.g. tour training, rally training, enduro training, individual training) is determined from the service description on which the registration is based.​

2. Cancellation
The customer has no right of cancellation for leisure events according to Section 312g Paragraph 2 No. 9 of the German Civil Code.​

3. Risk information and exclusions
Every driver must have a valid driver's license and must not be subject to a driving ban. He must be fit to drive at the time of the driving event and, in particular, must not be under the influence of alcohol. The drivers must follow the instructions of the instructors. Drivers who do not adhere to the rules of conduct or instructions will be excluded from the event. The driver is obliged to always drive and behave with caution within the scope of his driving skills in such a way that any danger to others beyond the mere use of the route is avoided. If special events (fall, accident, change to the route due to wear and tear or special events such as fallen trees) lead to dangers that are unknown to other drivers, the driver must inform an instructor immediately and without delay. In the event of imminent danger, the driver must immediately warn the other drivers following in an appropriate manner.​

4. Emergency doctor
At some events, we call in an emergency doctor who is on site as a precaution. There is no entitlement to this. In particular, it may be that the emergency doctor has to cancel due to short-term events or has to leave the site because there has been an incident and he is accompanying a patient to the hospital.

  • The customer rides his motorcycle or a rental motorcycle on more or less impassable terrain.

  • The event is divided into three categories (easy, medium, difficult). The three different routes are marked appropriately, primarily by red and white flutter tape. It is forbidden to leave the chosen route unless the customer changes a level of difficulty in the area of ​​a route intersection.

  • The driver must be aware that he will probably not be able to complete the event without falls. These are usually minor, so that no physical injuries occur and the motorcycle has no or only minor damage (bent gear lever, predetermined break on the brake or clutch lever). In individual and exceptional cases, however, major damage cannot be ruled out. WOX therefore recommends removing windshields and mirrors.

  • We assume that the drivers are physically fit and healthy in order to complete the event without any injuries. We ask that you stop consuming alcohol the evening before, especially for events lasting several days. Drivers are strictly prohibited from drinking alcohol during the ride.

  • In order to be able to complete the different routes with as little damage as possible, the driver should ask himself in advance which category corresponds to his driving skills and driving experience. WOX recommends starting with the easy lap in any case to warm up.

  • WOX can interrupt or cancel an event at its sole discretion if the weather conditions create a dangerous situation that makes continuing the event seem too dangerous.
